The high-quality seminar and conference offer is complemented by our wellness and pleasure offers „STEIERNESS“. The business and conference guest will find optimal conditions with us with the modern seminar zone of over 350 m², which has been classified annually with the best rating with 5 flipcharts since 2014.
We would also like to be an ideal host for individual holiday guests with our wellness and excursion offer. Tasty cuisine and relaxation and enjoyment are the most important factors. We also offer an optimal offer including program design for high-class groups. The hotel offer is supplemented by a lively à la carte and banquet offer.
When designing our offers, we pay attention to an excellent, honest price-performance ratio, fairness, diversity and personal tips. We keep our distance from „cheap offers“ and calculate realistically.
As a family-run hotel, we have time for the questions and wishes of our customers and guests and we respond individually to every request.

A place that fulfills the longing for intensive contact with nature with lush greenery, lively water and an extraordinary variety of plants on over 2500 m². You will find retreats to relax around the natural swimming pond with a thatched pavilion including a wooden terrace, such as the meditation area.

In our garden hotel, surrounded by meadows and apple orchards, accompanied by Ochensberger’s power garden with a natural swimming pond in the center of the hotel complex, we live in and with nature and get a lot of energy and strength from it!
In our corporate management, we pay attention to an intact environment that is worth living in and contribute to creating healthy space for everyone. We have been awarded the Austrian Ecolabel since January 2011 and the European EU Ecolabel since 2015, and we are delighted to be making an important contribution to the preservation of our beautiful environment.
This only works if all employees and guests help and treat our environment with care.
Steierness
The in-house brand for enjoyment & amp; Wellness
STEIERNESS is an in-house, self-invented, protected and further developed brand in the garden hotel Ochensberger. The brand arose from the theme of „Wellness up close in Styria“ and thus describes our vital kingdom and the entire range of wellness offers. STEIERNESS is a declaration of love to our homeland and a journey through the Styrian regions, which should be felt in the vital kingdom. The goal is an authentic sense of well-being in Styria, with which the guests experience high quality relaxation and tranquility, surrounded by the beautiful landscape of Eastern Styria.
Part of STEIERNESS is Ochensberger’s power garden – an energy filling station on over 2500 m² for optimal relaxation: natural idyll with koi pond, natural swimming pond, pavilion, wooden terrace over the water, sea air inhalation and many cozy places – all exclusively for our hotel guests. The garden experience is also included for our DaySpa guests.
STEIERNESS has been further developed in recent years and has a new name for enjoyment with the STEIERNESS Selection. In our cooking workshop, homemade delicacies in glass are made with a lot of skill and love, almost exclusively with regional products. Enjoy culinary specialties with relish – is our credo.
