Privacy policy

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Collection of personal data

We only store access data as part of so-called server log files during a simple website visit. This is data that your browser makes available and that is not personally identifiable, namely:

  • Browser type/version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
  • Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
  • Time and date of the server request

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources, and the data is deleted after a statistical analysis. For this purpose, user access to our websites is stored in the server log files, including the IP address. These log files are processed monthly for statistical purposes using analysis software and then deleted. It is not possible to draw conclusions about a specific person when we use the data.

Some functions on our website require visitors to enter personal data such as their name and email address. Names and details can be entered here voluntarily.

Your data is processed by us on servers located in Austria and thus within the framework of the EU data protection level. However, we would like to point out any exceptions according to point. 6 of this declaration (“Google Analytics”) if third-party tools are used that have their server location abroad.

Data collection in the course of the contact enquiry or the online shop form

When you fill out our online contact form or online shop form, we use this information to contact you regarding your interest. This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your enquiry or for contacting you and the associated technical administration. Your data will be deleted after your enquiry has been processed, provided that you request this and there are no legal obligations to retain the data.

First name, surname, email, telephone number, postcode, street, house number, city

If you have consented to the use of personal data for specific purposes that are subject to consent, you can revoke this consent at any time. The data will then be deleted by us. Data which you have entered in the course of the online contact enquiry or in the course of the online shop form will not be passed on to third parties. You are entitled to restrict your consent to the use of your data. In this case, your data will only be deleted within the scope of the restriction.

Data collection in the course of our online shop

In order to place orders via our shop, every customer must enter data. All data entered by you during order processing is stored. This includes

– First name, surname
– Address data (street, postcode, town)
– Telecommunications data (telephone number, e-mail address)

We use the data you provide to fulfil and process your order. The data required for the order process and invoicing will be forwarded to our KundenMeister shop solution. In order to fulfil the contract, we pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. As soon as the storage of your data is no longer necessary or required by law, it will be deleted.

We trust in the reliability and IT and data security of WESEO. Furthermore, we have concluded an “order data agreement” with WESEO. This is a contract in which WESEO undertakes to protect the data of our users, to process it on our behalf in accordance with its data protection provisions and, in particular, not to pass it on to third parties.


Purpose of use

We use your personal data for the following purposes:
To provide the services you have requested, in particular to receive and process your enquiry and orders in our shop.

 


Contract data processing

On the basis of a separate agreement on the processing of personal data on our behalf, your data will be collected, processed and used by our web space provider Hundertrot GmbH, Gewerbepark 523, 8225 Pöllau (as described in point 2), as part of commissioned data processing in accordance with Art 28 GDPR in accordance with the relevant legal requirements on our behalf. Data about every access to our website is stored exclusively on servers in Austria. However, this does not involve any transfer of your personal data to third parties in the sense of data protection law. We, Garten-Hotel Ochensberger, remain responsible to you under data protection law.


Rights of the data subjects

Revocation

You are entitled to withdraw your consent to the storage of your personal data at any time. You are also entitled to withdraw your consent to the collection and storage of further voluntary data by us at any time. Please note that in order to protect your privacy and security, we will verify your identity before you can take such action.

If you revoke the storage, processing and use of your personal data, we will immediately delete or block all your stored data.

You can request confirmation from us as to whether and to what extent we process your data.

Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that we are violating Austrian or European data protection law when processing your data, please contact us so that we can clarify any questions you may have. Of course, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian data protection authority, and from 25 May 2018 also with a supervisory authority within the EU.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Privacy policy for cookies

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that make it possible to store specific user-related information on the user’s device while they are using the website. Cookies make it possible in particular to determine the frequency of use and number of users of the pages, to analyse the behaviour of page use, but also to make our offer more customer-friendly. Cookies remain stored at the end of a browser session and can be called up again when you visit the site again. Duration of data storage

Personal data is stored for the duration of the statutory retention period. After this period has expired, the corresponding data is routinely deleted, provided it is no longer required for contract fulfilment or contract initiation.
