Guests are always welcome at the Weiz/Unterfladnitz airfield to enjoy the world from above in a two-seater glider, motorised glider, UltraLight or with friends in a 4-seater motorised aircraft. There are flight destinations with particularly recommendable sights such as the castles and palaces of Eastern Styria, but the highest mountain in Styria, the Dachstein, is also very popular.

Gliding
You can even learn to glide in the region.
The club has 6 flight instructors. The practical and theoretical examinations are taken by the instructors directly at the site after successful completion of the training. Basic training takes place on an ASK13 (two-seater) and a Ka6CR (training single-seater). You can learn the basic glider licence as well as the art of cross-country flying and aerobatics. The airfield has a small, self-catered canteen and a modern petrol station with 2 types of petrol (ETBE 98, AVGAS 100LL).
