Our philosophy
In our environmentally certified and family-run 4* Garten-Hotel Ochensberger, we have dedicated ourselves entirely to the environment & nature. The centrepiece is our “power garden” with a natural bathing pond, lush greenery, living water, an extraordinary variety of plants and wonderfully secluded spots by the water. Our holiday guests experience pure relaxation in the enchanting hotel spa STEIERNESS “Adults only” on over 1000 m2 and 2 floors.
Classified by “Tagen in Österreich” and awarded the highest score of 5 flipcharts, we are also one of the best seminar hotels in Austria.

Austrian and international guests, seminar guests and business travellers from all over the world are “our daily business” in our hotel, the resto bar “DIE GÄRTNEREI”, the wine bar and the restaurant, which has been awarded 2 Falstaff forks. Our wine list offers over 100 Austrian and international wines. Current, trendy summer drinks, cocktails and high-proof specialities of gin, single malts & more are served from the wine bar.
Numerous banquet events, company and Christmas parties from 10 – 150 people complement our business area and the restaurant premises offer space for 150 guests. A variety of excellent events such as winegrowers’ evening, Istrian night, murder mystery dinner, Italian night, herring feast, Caribbean night, gourmet weeks, goose & game take place throughout the year.
