The Styrian Apple Road is just a few minutes’ drive from the hotel – here you can stroll through millions of apple trees and sample the best apples, fine fruit brandies and natural juices from local farmers. In southern Styria, you can hike through the most beautiful wine regions on the Styrian Wine Route or cycle leisurely along the East Styrian Roman Wine Route and stop off at winegrowers, wine taverns and wine cellars.

Autumn time is active time
Your autumn holiday in Eastern Styria will be surrounded by enjoyable experiences! You will hike and cycle from lush Alpine pastures along orchards and pumpkin fields to the vineyards. As a certified cycling hotel, we are ideally prepared for an extensive cycling holiday in autumn with exciting and varied cycling tours. There are well-developed routes in and around St. Ruprecht that lead past numerous excursion destinations and hotspots in the region.
If you want to keep your calves fit on foot, there are plenty of hiking routes in Eastern Styria: just 6km from the hotel is one of the access points to the longest gorge in Europe – the Raabklamm. You will also find several hiking trails right on the doorstep that will take you to the power spots of our market town. Have you seen the world’s largest 3D nature television? On one of the many themed trails, you can explore all the power spots on one route: 7 places – 7 treasures.

Ochensberger’s orchard on over 4500m² with numerous apple trees and a “Nashmeile” with berries, where you can help yourself to your heart’s content, is right on the doorstep!
